The incumbent in this role will be accountable for the sales of DealerTrack Inventory Solutions, Websites and Digital Marketing to franchise car dealerships. Will be accountable for generating and maximizing sales revenue and increasing Inventory Solution customers within a defined/assigned region
and will work in a home office located in the territory.
. This territory is: Northern Illinois and Wisconsin. ~
Generate revenue according to the sales goal for the assigned region
Discuss, present, and demonstrate key advantages of the DealerTrack Inventory Solution, Websites and Digital Marketing to the customer
Build trusted relationships with decision makers at the dealership; Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers
Ability to Interface and interact with Dealer Principals, General Managers, Used Car Managers and Manheim Representatives
Uncover business development opportunities to propel company’s growth
Performs other duties as required
Travel warrior, depending on territory
Retail automotive experience preferred. (GM, GSM, Pre-owned Car Director or Dealer Principal)
Bachelor's Degree preferable
Knowledge and experience of Inventory Solutions or similar products used in the automotive industry
Knowledge and experience of Dealer Websites and online marketing solutions used in the automotive industry
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the auto dealership departments and its processes
Must have the ability to present the DealerTrack products face-to-face and over the phone with potential customers
Previous experience in managing a multi-state sales territory is preferred
Must have the ability to close sales opportunities and maintain a long-term trusted relationship with the customer
Must have above average computer skills
