The Driver/ Service Technician uses sales, service and educational skills to ensure safe delivery, setup and use of
equipment and maintains the quality provider image for the company and community.
Demonstrates actions consistent with Ochsner's Expectations as duties are performed on a daily basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A. Education, Experience & Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of delivery experience preferably in the medical field.
B. Other Qualifications:
Must obtain necessary driver's license and DOT medical certification card. Must possess good driving record.
Previous experience or successful completion of factory training seminar for home medical equipment
preferred. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages
C. Physical Demands:
Be able to stock, dismantle, deliver, and instruct patients on equipment that weighs as much as 1001bs. Have
ability to operate safely a delivery vehicle.
IV ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. 30% Delivery of inedical equipment.
2. 20% Set up and instruct end users on medical equipment
3. 30% Maintain equipment and logs
4. 20% Maintain vehicle and warehouse
