PSA IT Release and Quality Coordinator - 1112935
              As a member of Hewlett Packard’s Global Functions IT group you will be part of a fast paced, dynamic team that develops and implements solutions for the entire HP enterprise employing cutting edge technology to address complex business problems. This position is part of the Procurement, Security and Aviation IT group which spans critical application platforms world-wide. As a member of PSA IT Horizontal Project delivery team, leads the release coordination for all the PSA IT projects end to end by working with the business, project manager, development team, change management team and domain groups. Takes part in the creation of release plan for the year by working with IT and business team in coordination with support. Leads in identifying and resolving potential conflicts which could impact the final approval of the RFC. Expected to do the IT testing coordination with off-shore team and status reporting. Leads the IT test team in following the Automated Testing Services (ATS) guidelines. Also expected to work as an IT Analyst during the requirement phases of delivery projects when needed. Performs work assigned by others. Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks.

              Education and Experience Required:

              Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS or equivalent technical education with 2-3 years of related experience.

              Knowledge and Skills Required:
              • Experience in release coordination and management with multiple releases.
              • Experience in Testing and leading a test team.
              • Experience in using various test tools and performance testing.
              • Experience in IT Analyst role.
              • Strong technical writing ability - functional specs, use cases and test cases.
              • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into functional requirements.
              • Technical background - Development experience required.
              • Ability to apply project management concepts and tools.
              • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
              • Cross application integration knowledge is a plus.
              • Basic DB and Webserver knowledge.
              • Ability to work with a "virtual team".
              • Effective at resolving problems and issues.

                • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
                • Quality Assurance processes
                • Process Management and Process Optimization
