This is a tremendous opportunity to jump start your career! Honeywell Aerospace Albuquerque Engineering Systems Engineering Applications (ESEA) Military Aircraft team has an immediate opening for a Sr. Product Design Engineer to support the multiple aircraft programs.

The product engineer will be responsible for the interface between engineering and production for both development and production efforts. Responsibilities include understanding product history and how that fits in with any current customer requests and being a focal point for resolving product technical issues.

Other duties include updating documentation and processing changes, understanding all of the test requirements and equipment needed, obsolete/alternate parts evaluation and tracking, failure and reliability corrective action support, and working with production personnel (manufacturing engineers, technicians and operators) to determine needs for the factory and to understand the build process. Ability to work and complete tasks against a demanding schedule is required. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in a related Engineering discipline
5 years related experience in Product or Hardware Engineering
Due to ITAR restrictions candidate must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident

Additional Qualifications:
Experience in Avionics Systems integration and production
Team player and the ability to stay focused on assigned task(s) and see it through to completion.
Responsible and motivated to do a good job
Good writing and communication skills
