Must be comfortable working on all aspects of a LIVE commercial website.
LAMP stack with POSTGRE
Over 1 Million Products in the Store
Extremely strong analytical and problem solving skills
Deep knowledge of software design and architecture principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Object Oriented Programming and Development
Strong development experience with HTML, DHTML, CSS
Strong development experience with Javascript (jQuery, YUI, or Prototype)
Strong developer experience with PHP, Java, Perl or other programming languages
Strong knowledge of MySQL, POSTGRE and other RDBMS
Experience with Digital Media a plus
Ability to pass proper background checks that would allow you to work with secure and exclusive data
Working knowledge of ROR frameworks
Strong Unix/Linus skills
Working knowledge of source control systems such as Subversion or GIT
Working knowledge of EC2
5+ years experience in programming commercial software or business systems
4 year college degree REQUIRED
Liquid Spins is a commerical music distributor who distributes digital music for Sony, Warner, EMI, Universal, Curb, RED and hundreds of other labels.
This is an extremely fast paced environment.
For contractors, we will need you for a minimum of 160 hours for 30 days.
For others, you will need to be hired on a temporary contract basis where we will evaluate your work at the end of the first project.
