Help Desk specialist-Part-time (NY, NY) Job Description Part-Time Help Desk specialist For more than 20 years, the Children's Aid Society (CAS)-Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program has run a highly respected program to help youth develop the desire for a productive future by avoiding pregnancy and making responsible decisions. It is the only 3 year fully evaluated teenage pregnancy prevention program with statistically proven effectiveness in the country . CAS seeks an IT Specialist to support the National Data Manager in NYC.

The Part-time Help Desk Specialist will work very closely with the Help Desk Specialist, National Data Manager and Associate Director of Operations to provide IT/Helpdesk support for the Carrera Management Information System (CMIS), which functions as the national performance management system.

Skills Required Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the CMIS help desk to provide support for staff nationally
• Contribute to new employee orientations/trainings in cooperation with the Data Manager
• Monitor the CMIS Collaborative Tool “Chatter” to ensure compliance with program policies & procedures
• Develop comprehensive, interactive, & user friendly help desk documentation for CMIS
• Manage & Update the CMIS knowledge base
• Assist the data manager as needed with o Data management including data uploads, cleaning, standardization, & validation o Creation of comprehensive reports & dashboards on all critical data points & program milestones o Support for projects with 3rd party vendors & consultants for upgrades to the CMIS platform
Educational Requirements
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Solid, well-rounded technical aptitude – previous experience with salesforce administration a plus
• Good interpersonal & written/verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer service mindset
• Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities simultaneously, take initiative, and have a strong work ethic
• Experience using Salesforce.com preferred
