An exciting opportunity has just come available in the Intellectual Property Department of the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. Fulbright & Jaworski is a full-service law firm with nearly 850 lawyers and more than 75 integrated practice areas and seventeen offices worldwide. The position in Fulbright’s Minneapolis office requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service and team-oriented candidate with at least two years' experience as a project assistant or records coordinator, preferably in a law firm.

The Project Assistant is responsible for file maintenance including opening and closing, Accutrac/RFID, assist secretaries with reporting out on prosecution matters, reception back-up and other duties.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • File maintenance
  • Creation of Accutrac location tags
  • Perform weekly Accutrac/RFID inventory sweeps for IP and Corporate files
  • Prepare prosecution reporting out correspondence to clients
  • Act as primary backup for receptionist
  • Assist with preparation of box indices for closed files
  • Recall boxes/files from off-site storage
  • Enter file information into IM Connect to archive closed files


  • 2 or more years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Previous law firm/IP experience a plus
