Description

As a

Customer Solutions Associate

(Customer Service) in Global Business Services (GBS) you are involved in the timely and accurate completion of the multiple activities required to satisfy and add value to our customers, including customer order entry, invoicing, and validating pricing within established guidelines. Understands production capability and capacity. Monitors product availability and schedules deliveries. Resolves routine and complex order and delivery concerns with customer and co-workers. Stays current on promotions. Researches and obtains resolution to routine and complex customer complaints and issues. Maintains frequent contact with customers and sales staff.

Principal Accountabilities

Process incoming orders, including logistics - 35%

Process invoicing - 25%

Receive and process customer inquiries - 15%

Consumer contact phone line support - 10%

Assist plant locations on order-related inquiries - 10%

Assist with adhoc project requests - 5%

As assigned -- Tier One user: coverage for business continuation.

Qualifications

Required

High School or GED

1 year or more of Customer Service

Basic computer experience in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Prior office experience (in an office setting)

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands and operating systems simultaneously

Demonstrate organizational and time management skills

Problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Exceptional customer service skills and assertiveness

Strong sense of ownership and follow-through

Strong listening and communication skills

Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly

Attention to detail

Holiday and storm coverage will be required with this position

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor Degree

Logistical background

Agricultural and/or Animal Science background
