The instructor will be responsible for teaching Cisco CCNA networking, the latest Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, Security+ based security, and Linux server and desktop operating systems. The Cisco CCNA Exploration curriculum is taught through the Cisco Networking Academy. Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of the latest versions of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems is required. Key technologies include but not limited to Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, server manager, remote support, Cisco IOS, IP switching, & routing, IPV4 & IPV6, vlans, firewalls, wired & wireless internet. Most classes have a hands-on lab component. This position requires the instructor to be able to implement these technologies and to resolve student issues with implementing these technologies in the lab portions of the courses.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Engineering Technology required. Master’s Degree preferred.

Additional Information:
SALARY: $38,464 - $62,625 per annum plus fringe benefits, state-funded position.
Starting salary will be determined in accordance with the MCCC Collective Bargaining Agreement. The salary is for the academic year (160 days). Pending state funding.
