Come join Twitter’s growing Legal team as a Contracts Manager!
You'll be responsible for a wide range of contract-related matters between Twitter and its partners, customers, advertisers, vendors, and suppliers. You'll work with Legal and a variety of different teams at Twitter, and you’ll help to influence this small team's culture and approach in a growing company.
We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad responsibilities. You'll need to bring negotiation and drafting smarts, business sense and a good personality because you'll be dealing with a rapidly scaling business. Ideally you've worked in-house in the advertising, technology, or new media space handling a variety of contracts.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
Negotiating and drafting sales, partner, supplier, contractor and other commercial agreements, including NDAs
Developing and supporting advertising sales
Negotiating software distribution agreements
Helping to define contract management processes and templates
Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline provisions, processes or negotiations
Supporting various teams throughout the company, including sales, procurement, HR, finance, and facilities
Helping to determine Contracts Management team priorities and goals, and identifying scaling opportunities
Assisting in identifying and/or developing and maintaining infrastructure and resources for the team
Analyzing commercial terms and conducting due diligence as needed
Supporting various other commercial/transactional matters, depending on desire, aptitude and what comes up
Qualifications
At least 5 (though more--even much more--is welcome) of relevant experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in-house or at a firm
In-house technology company experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting procurement matters, sales, advertising, services and/or software a plus
Entrepreneurial mindset; flexible, self-starting and hard working
Comfortable working in a company experiencing rapid growth
Demonstrated sound business judgment
Strong written and oral communication skills
BA/BS degree with strong academic record
