Summary

The Sr. Compensation Analyst will handle multiple operational and analytical roles in the Total Rewards department. The main operational responsibilities will consist of executing Stock Plan processes and compensation tasks in the HRIS system. Additional analytical and operational assignments will be a major component of the position so a high degree of flexibility is required. In general, the Sr. Compensation Analyst will regularly work cross-functionally between multiple corporate functions as well as with individual employees on individual accounts so a high degree of professionalism and collaborative thinking is mandatory. Specific knowledge and experience for the full scope of work is not required, but a demonstrated history of achievement and passion for learning is required. The candidate will report to the Sr. Manager of Total Rewards within the corporate Human Resources group.

Responsibilities

Stock Plan

The Sr. Compensation Manger will be the primary operator of the company’s Stock Plan Program. Such responsibilities can include:
  • Administer company’s equity programs including data updates and validation of grants, exercises, cancellations and employee data
  • DWAC shares as appropriate, release restrictions on pre-IPO shares and work with the Transfer Agent on a regular basis
  • Answer employee questions and provide individual reports where needed
  • Manage the communication process for new grants and vesting of restricted stock
  • Work with finance on share reconciliations and data discrepancies
  • Developing and implementing an international taxation program
  • Responsible for data and submission of SEC Form 3 and 4 filings
  • Help prepare 10K, 10Q and Proxy table data
  • Vender maintenance
HRIS and Compensation

The Sr. Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the operations of the annual compensation tool of the Cornerstone HRIS system with other related responsibilities which can include:
  • Assist with processing merit increases, promotions, bonuses and equity allocations
  • Perform data uploads, extracts and analysis to HRIS tool (Cornerstone)
  • Configure the HRIS system and launch tasks
  • Run validation checks and ensure for data and permission accuracy
  • Do market research on common pay practices via Radford
Other Assignments

Expect a wide range of analysis and research in a variety of Compensation Topics, which can include research in the following:
  • Proxy, 10k and 10q support
  • Merger and Acquisition impact on all Compensation Plans and Programs
  • Different types and flavors of Equity Awards
  • Different types of remuneration such as ESPP programs
  • VP and above analysis using Equilar
  • Peer group analysis
  • Various Board of Director support and analysis functions
  • Evaluating all LTI and STI compensation components in various fashions
Requirements
  • 4 to 6 years of professional experience in an HR Operations, Total Rewards, Finance and / or Stock Plan position
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with working with data driven systems such as Stock Plan Administration systems
  • Understanding of expense principles (FAS 123r), Proxy data and 10k’s helpful
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Organizational Behavior or other related discipline from a top-tier University
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • CEP, CCP or any other HR or Stock Plan certification a plus
