NCI: As the Software Test Evaluation Technician, this position will administer and support key aspects of software verification and testing of the AFWay II Oracle eBusiness Suite solution, future release and upgrades, as well as, periodic/non-periodic patches, upgrades and enhancements for the Air Force customer. Directly responsible for quality control checks, formatting and inspection of all AFWay II test scripts (such as, testing capabilities to request, order and purchase information technology equipment, software and other associate items and services within the Air Force). The position requires understanding of software testing and test script building review and execution.
Highlights of Responsibilities
Develop process for quality control checking of AFWay II functional software test scripts.
Build verification and testing procedure, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts for AFWay II.
Review, update, edit, format and correct test scripts for AFWay II Component Validation and Integration Testing.
Administer a process for defining, tracking and managing problem reports, issues and errors found during test script building, review and execution.
Apply these quality control processes to other Air Force functional commodities and services (such as medical domain, etc) across the entire Air Force.
Organize document control procedures to support test script definition, development, execution and archive.
Execute AFWay II data migration and Information Assurance (IA) test scripts, and record data. Requirements
Software test experience.
Oracle testing experience.
Test script development and fielding experience.
Software auditing expertise.
Technical hands-on performance of test script execution experience.
Federal Government, in particular, Air Force/military experience.
Workstation and PC experience, both hardware and software.
Help desk procedure expertise and experience in resolving IT, network, database, and hardware trouble/problem reports.
MS Office expertise. Preferred Education and Experience
Graphics applications experience.
Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
Work experience in computer science industry or related field.
