Performs as a Medical Unit Secretary or Certified Nursing Assistant according to departmental needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. While in the Medical Unit Secretary role, the employee performs clerical and receptionist roles to facilitate the efficient operation and maintenance of the patient care unit. While in the Certified Nursing Assistant role, the employee provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Education : High School Diploma required. Completion of NA I program required.
Experience : One year preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration : Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required.
Additional Skills Required : Medical Terminology.
Additional Skills Preferred : Previous experience with answering multiple phone lines. Basic computer skills.
