Job responsibilities include proficiency in performing electrical installations, maintenance and repairs in plant facilities; knowledgeable in all areas of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70,70E and 79); and proven excellence in analyzing and solving problems with various electrical controls and systems.
Education & Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a 07 or 01 Washington State Electrical Certificate, and maintain all continuing education requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who have completion a formal electrical apprenticeship training program.
Skills & Abilities Needed
Familiarity with various motor controls such as: AC and DC Drives, VFD's, Servo Drives, Stepper Motors, PLC's and Magnetic Starters. A thorough working knowledge of the installation and repair of the following: AC and DC equipment, switches, transformers, and transformer hook ups (three phase and single phase). A familiarity with various working voltages <
; 600V, including center tapped delta transformers is necessary for this position.
