Aveda, America’s premier creator and marketer of plant-based haircare, skincare, make-up, PureFume™ and lifestyle products seeks a Manager, Sales Operations provide sales analysis for Salon Direct, Independent Distributors, Online, and Amenities channel, support the development of the annual strategic plan, and oversee the monthly forecasts for the company with direction and support from Senior Finance management.

Assist Executive Director and Field Sales Management in the development of the annual sales targets, including the development of key metric comparisons and related support for the derived goals.
Develop monthly forecasts supported by key metric projections and fueled sales assumptions for all Aveda channels.
Reach consensus with Demand Planning on a monthly basis regarding the North America sales estimate.
Partner with Aveda’s independent distributors and Aveda operations to coordinate the monthly shipments, including the timely identification of backorders and SKU’s on allocation which could jeopardize achieving the monthly forecast.
Oversee the timely and accurate monthly sales analysis to the Field, Management, and our third party distributors.
Specific monthly reports include but are not limited to the Beige Book, Sales Analysis Deck, North America Financial Review, North America Brand Manager Monthly Analysis, and Global Brand Manager Monthly Analysis.
Present monthly sales results to senior management.
Adequately quantify and communicate risks and opportunities inherent in the plan and forecasts.
Oversee development of the annual sales goals by salon, SDP, and Region.
Oversee the timely and accurate calculations of the Field’s quarterly and annual bonuses.
Effectively collect, analyze, and communicate information to decision makers on an as-needed basis.
Provide Competitive Analysis to senior management on a quarterly basis.
Recommend future action based on factual results with the purpose of maximizing sales.
Incorporate sell-through data into the monthly performance analysis.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum 7 years sales management experience
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent system, PC, and spreadsheet skills.
Microsoft Access Experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work within tight time requirements.
