Job Summary

Sales floor supervisor for University Campus Store UTech (Computer) department. Provides extensive technical expertise within the department to sales associates and to individual customers. Offers input on purchasing, pricing, inventory and display of products. Stays current on product information and industry trends and developments.


Main responsibilities include providing customer service to retail customers. Create a customer friendly, well-merchandised and appropriately stocked sales floor. Maintain all customer product information sheets in an accurate and up to date manner. Supervise student sales staff, including sales quotas and cashier processes. Provide technical support to customers and store staff. Train student staff to provide exemplary customer service and product knowledge. Resolve customer service issues related to sales processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalency; two years experience in selling, configuring, installing and servicing computers, both hardware and software; and experience communicating and negotiating with vendors required.


Associate degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or equivalency, plus two years experience in retail selling. Two years’ experience in supervising retail selling staff, selling computer hardware and software. Strong commitment to service excellence required.
