Job Descriptions:
This candidate will be responsible for providing support, maintenance, security and planning for Red Hat (RHEL) Linux. This Admin will be required to provide lead infrastructure support in Oracle EBS Linux environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide support, maintenance, security, and planning for Red Hat (RHEL) Linux
  • Provide lead infrastructure support in an Oracle EBS Linux environment
  • Maintain at least 99.999% up-time on all critical systems
  • Develop Information Assurance STIG/SCAP scripts
  • Plan and implement firmware, software, and O/S upgrades
  • Continuously analyze overall system performance and design improvements
  • Perform periodic audits against server Syslog
  • Promote and support changes for change management committee
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies
  • Develop policies and procedures
  • Work with all IT Managers to develop technology roadmaps showing how to move from current condition to future vision
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with IT technical staff and finance staff
Required Experience:
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Linux experience including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Substantial operational experience in a 24X7 environment
  • Proven history of managing large-scale high performance systems
  • Server virtualization experience (VMware)
  • TCP/IP and firewall
  • PERL Scripting
Specific Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining fiber channel, SAS and NAS technologies in Red Hat Linux
  • IBM RDAC and or NetApp ALUA multi-path experience is preferred
  • Passionate about web technologies, database innovation, and Open Source technologies
  • 2+ years of Apache HTTPD Server administration
  • 2+ years of Tomcat Server administration
  • Strong BASH scripting
  • Strong server resource management and tuning skills
  • Good understanding of managing Windows environments
Personal / Technical Skills (good working knowledge of the following):
  • Linux LVM, IBM, and NetApp FC Tools
  • Creating, resizing, and maintaining disks with minimal downtime (SAN and Host)
  • Oracle fundamentals
  • Moderate Windows Administration
  • Installing and maintaining back-up agents (CommVault)
Education:
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Science
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Security Clearance:
Secret clearance or ability to obtain a secret clearance
