JOB DESCRIPTION · Maintain & prepare schedules tracking various costs, projects to support monthly journal entries and ensure accurate account balances each month.· Maintain all journal entries including support.· Reconcile various Balance Sheet and P&L accounts. · Perform bank reconciliations as assigned.· Investigate anomalies identified to determine root causes and offer solutions to improve process.· Drive and support continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives and developing & documenting new processes· Understand multiple internal areas including CFS process & system, accounts payable process, accounts receivable process, basic product structure and company initiatives in order to investigate and resolve issues raised or identified. Highly complex issues will require investigation and suggested solution to be presented to senior mgmt.· Prepare reports for management, other Finance Depts and BU’s for use in making timely, fact-based business decisions.· Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. · Keep Accounting management abreast of current activities within areas of responsibility.· Support Finance and other BU’s by performing locally required functions such as billings, local collections, cash applications, expense reports reviewing/processing.

Required Skills:
JOB REQUIREMENTS · Bachelor’s Degree preferred· Minimum of 2-3 years of Accounting experience· Fluent in both Portuguese and English – required· Working knowledge of Brazil and US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards· Ability to prioritize and organize workload· Strong ability to collect information from many varied sources and ensure its accuracy · Ability to work independently with various accounting, finance and treasury personnel· Excellent analytical skills· Strong ability to understand business processes· Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner· Ability to manage constantly shifting priorities and requirements· Excellent verbal & written communication skills & effective listening skills ADDITIONAL DETAILS
