Title: Stock Clerk (Retail Sales)

As a Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for the timely flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, making sure products are received, processed, and displayed per company merchandising guidelines.
The Stock Clerk must be focused on loss prevention to protect company assets by managing all incoming shipments. Daily shipments must be scheduled and planned according to the store's needs. Stock room deliveries should be made and processed through back office receiving and must be within company guidelines. The Stock Clerk is also responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the stock room. Participation in all inventories is required. This individual must continually improve their product knowledge through Sony's on-line training program (CyberScholar) and act as a Sales Specialist on the sales floor when necessary. Additional duties may be required upon request from management.
Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent. A minimum of one year of previous experience in a stock room plus one year of previous retail experience is required. Consumer electronics retail experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, team player with a positive attitude who is also an excellent communicator/listener with the motivation necessary to meet customer needs. Must be versatile and possess strong organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is a must. This position requires ladder climbing (up to 20 feet) and the ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
