Provide research, writing, and editing skills for a variety of NCTA digital channels and publications, including blog posts, President's Report and more.
Assist the department with management of NCTA and Cable Show social media channels.
Provide social media analytics reporting to the department.
Work with relevant departments to develop an industry calendar that can be posted on NCTA's website and other platforms.
Assist department as needed with coordination of events.
Assist the Director of Digital Engagement with miscellaneous projects.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Self-starter who asks questions and looks for creative solutions to everyday challenges.
Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives.
Knowledge of media strategy and the role media plays in an integrated communications environment.
2-3 years experience in a corporate communications environment or related.
Experience writing, editing, and crafting content for media, web and social media platforms.
BA or BS with focus on communication, journalism or marketing.
Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, foursquare, Twitter, YouTube and Google+
Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
Experience with different web CMS, HTML and CSS.
A proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Video editing and production skills a plus.
