Role:
The following are the responsibilities and duties of the Assistant Strategist. This is not an all-inclusive list and will vary by account assignment.
The Assistant Strategist is the entry-level position within the Strategy group. The Assistant Strategist s main role is to work closely with Strategists in developing and maintaining communication strategy recommendations, rooted in consumer behavior insights, and built with marketing solutions to meet the business objective at hand. ssible. He/she is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the account as well as growing and learning the media and marketing strategy space across all channels.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Gather data and insights to support the media recommendation across all channels
  • Assist with tracking media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance
  • Assist in the execution of the media plan
  • Update client media activity flowcharts
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to drive creative communication strategy and ways to engage consumers
  • Collect data and assist in writing competitive reports
Qualification:
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Interest in the principles of advertising, marketing and media
  • Develops proficiency in strategic thinking, as well as a natural curiosity and creativity for human behavior, arts, culture and technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication- please provide a writing sample
  • Exhibit proficiency with computer programs, specifically Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate and interact with clients and vendors
  • Ability to follow-through on tasks and be detail-oriented
Skills/Abilities:
  • Competency in mathematical concepts and critical thinking
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Prioritization skills (multi-tasking)
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, and sometimes involved, written or oral instructions
  • Ability to formulate solutions to communication problems
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate and interact with clients and vendors
Required experience: 0 - 2 years
Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree
