Trilibis is seekingan engineering lead who will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers for developing mobile web products for our customers using a home grown platform called SmartPath.
Responsibilities
Ability to interact with customers to understand their requirements and convert them into a working mobile products
Work closely with project management, design, QA, and IT teams as well as the platform team to deliver mobile products on time and within budget
Help the platform team by providing valuable ideas and suggestions to improve the efficiency of building mobile products.
Mentor and manage other developers to build mobile web applications on SmartPath platform
Participate in pre-sales activities with business team and project managers to win customers
Ability to work in a dynamic and a fast moving venture-backed organization
Skill sets and experience
8+ years of strong Java experience with good understanding about networking libraries and networking protocols such as SOAP, REST, HTTP, XML, etc
Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 and other browser technologies
Experience working with Tomcat J2EE servers, Linux, Memcache and MySQL
Good troubleshooting skills on development and production systems
Experience with a broad range of technologies such as Object Oriented Design and Development, Multi-tier system architecture, Web Services and XML
Experience with CVS, Eclipse, ANT
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in language understandable to engineers and non engineers
Good presentation and organization skills
Mobile domain knowledge preferred
BS or MS in Computer Science or closely related field.
