Duties: Serve as integral member of the Wharton School Dean's Office staff. Conceive, research, and edit a high volume of creative and well-organized executive-level materials for the Dean and Deputy Dean, including, but not limited to, a wide array of business communications, both internal and external. Draft presentations, material for short remarks and talking points for review. Collaborate on and develop columns, essays, lectures, and speeches. Communicate in a clear and consistent voice to a variety of audiences and constituencies in diverse settings. Ensure that the Dean's voices, strategies, current topics, and ideas are conveyed consistently and elegantly, and in a timely manner across all media. Serve as the Dean's Office liaison on collaborative writing projects across the school and university. Work with internal teams and external freelancers. Write and/or collaborate on copy for the Wharton website, social media platforms, newsletters, and publications. Work closely with various groups, especially the Wharton Communications team and the Wharton External Affairs group. Edit all materials written prior to submitting to the Deans for final approval. Write additional reports and documents as required. Ensure the accurate, proper and timely flow of information to and from the Dean's Office in support of recurring and special projects. The position reports to the Chief of Staff in the Wharton Office of the Dean.
