The selected candidate will review supplier proposals, cost or pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by the supplier in support of their proposal. Confer with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price. Lead fact finds and negotiations at supplier’s facilities. Prepare memos, spreadsheets and present findings. Provide final contract negotiation documents that are consistent with agreements reached in negotiations. This position will focus on execution of Price Cost Analysis (PCA) Memorandums and mentoring newer members of the PCA group. Tasks will include working with analysts to prepare cost analysis reports, pre-negotiation strategies/review memos, and the final negotiation memos. Candidate will provide overall price/cost analysis guidance to other employees. Candidate will be responsible for hands on training and coaching of all level analysts. The ability to travel is a must. |
-Proven experience in Cost Analysis and evaluation techniques used in assessing supplier proposals.
-Considered an expert in government contracts and Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements, specifically Section 15 - Contracting by Negotiation.
-Demonstrated ability to lead, coach/mentor, and train less experienced employees.
-Excellent negotiation skills
-Extensive financial analysis experience.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate departmental and program messages effectively.
-Excellent Excel Skills
-Significant Contractual knowledge and understanding.
-In depth knowledge of various contract types.
