Position Summary:
This position is a great opportunity to be a member of the Cessna tax team focusing on domestic and international tax compliance, reporting, and research with a highly-skilled and motivated group of tax professionals.

Position Requirements:
Preparation and review of complex domestic income tax returns

Responsible for coordination with foreign affiliates to gather necessary data for return preparation, forecasting, and ASC 740 reporting

Preparation and review of the quarterly and annual income tax provision submissions from domestic and international business units including current and deferred tax analysis in accordance with ASC 740

Preparation of the Research & Development Tax Credit and supporting documentation

Research, review, analyze and interpret current and proposed tax legislation, including preparation of technical memos as assigned

Work with departments across the organization such as accounting, treasury, and legal as well as international offices to gather documentation/information needed

Respond to tax correspondence with various tax agencies

Identify process improvements, implement changes and ensure best practices

Responsible for analyzing and reconciling various tax accounts

Responsible for supporting federal, foreign and state audits, as needed

Qualifications

Education Requirements:
·

Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Accounting

Position Requirements:
Understanding of U.S. Internal Revenue Code and ASC 740

Highly organized and detail oriented with demonstrated work paper documentation skills

Demonstrated ability to be accountable for independently completing assignments

Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong planning and project management skills

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and income tax preparation software

CPA certification or actively pursuing certification preferable

Two years of public tax experience preferable
