Want a glimpse into the inner workings of our IT department? As a growing company, Save-a-Lot is expanding our IT team in order to keep up with our expanding demands. We are looking for some interns this summer to add to our team. Our interns will concentrate on certain aspects of IT, while being provided the opportunity to learn about all operations of the department, and work on projects that will affect the decisions we make for our multimillion dollar business.

Internship Details

Gain access to the inner workings of software development by working alongside key players of our Information Technology leadership teams. During our 10-week Internship, you will be exposed to the day-to-day responsibilities of the software development lifecycle.

Our comprehensive internship program provides exposure to areas such as:
1) Project Assignment
2) Business Analysis
3) Design/Coding
4) Testing
5) User Acceptance
6) Implementation.

Internship Structure

This paid summer internship has a negotiable start date. The internship will take place Monday-Friday in our Corporate Office in Earth City, Mo.

What We Look For

-Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenges

-Desire to collaborate and excel as a member of a team

-Talent in independently executing plans and strategies to solve problems

-Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to achieve productivity and business goals

-Java and HTML experience required

-SQL experience a plus

-Sophomore or Junior Status Preferred
