Kodak Gallery is looking for an experienced, senior product marketing professional who can provide the leadership, vision and innovation to develop and execute marketing strategy to include price, position, promotion, place and packaging for specific product categories within the Gallery that drive a great customer experience and profitable results for the business.


  • Develops the creative brief for promotion execution which includes positioning of the product, naming, target segments, messaging strategy, channel strategy, and the differentiation of our offering
  • Competitive analysis
  • Determines launch windows and marketing windows and determines the synchronization of product launches
  • Manages the launch of the product
  • Manage the marketing operations of the category
  • Provides cross functional leadership from launch through life cycle
  • Provide day to day management of the product category
  • Links the plan to other related category managers
  • Derives recommended marketing expense envelope
  • Manages the marketing mix including but not limited to site, advertising, PR, partner marketing, and offers
  • Manages product and services communications both internally (among SPU’s), and externally, including conferences, training events, and media events
  • Provides Leadership in Business Model Estimation and Forecasting
  • Demand planning: Short/Mid Forecast, Demand/Supply Plan
  • PLACE: Works with Business Development for Partner and Channel development
  • Works with Site marketing to communicate the value proposition and to optimize SEO
  • Develops a product partner marketing strategy and manages the relationship with those marketing partners
  • PRODUCT: Develops line extensions based on existing platform i.e. adding licensed content
  • Primary Interfaces
  • Product Management, CRM, Marcom , Site Marketing, Creative Services, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service, Data
  • HORIZON: 6 months to last quarter
  • PRICE: Sets the product price bands
  • KEY METRICS: Category Revenue and Margin, Marketing Cost Envelope, Customer Sat ratings for category

  • 5+ years overall marketing experience with 4 years in product marketing or category management
  • 2+ years online marketing experience, including online merchandise marketing preferred but not required
  • Has had direct responsibility for a $10mm plus product/service portfolio
  • Has driven double digit growth
  • A highly articulate, decisive, self-starter who energizes people around him/her
  • Is able to get things done in the face of tight timelines, and through others in a matrix organization
  • Comfortable dealing with fast paced environments, and new and evolving markets
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Superior Strategic Planning experience/abilities
  • Strong planning/implementation/follow-through
  • Strong analytical skills, and comfortable with detailed financial and business modeling to evaluate data and make recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage long-term relationships with internal and external groups
  • BA/BS in Marketing or Engineering; MBA preferred
