FLOYD BROWNE GROUP is aggressively recruiting for a Project Engineer in its Columbus, Ohio office. Floyd Browne Group is a design and engineering firm focused on the success of our clients. It is our business to provide the services of planning and site development; infrastructure and utility improvements; roads, streets, bridges and sidewalks; parks, trails and greenways; survey and field services; construction management; and capital improvement plans and financing.
PROJECT ENGINEER – A successful candidate will complete design for all facets of utility, infrastructure and development projects. They must possess strong technical competence in water, wastewater, storm, grading and site work and general civil engineering, and have AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience. Responsibilities will include plan assembly, design calculations, and plan submittals, cost estimating. Candidates must have an understanding of plan content for Columbus and the surrounding area. Plans may include water, sanitary and storm sewers; roadway; site construction; subdivisions; water/wastewater plant process; and parks/trails. Four to eight years experience is required and P.E. licensure is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently are a must.
