They provide the tools and training to help the team succeed and grow. The team leader will facilitate the communication between the business and their team to help set and follow thru with priorities. They set the direction for the team.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
A Team Leader will be responsible for the leadership and development of the Storage Team. They may work with the business and other technology teams. In this role the Team leader may focus half of their time on using their technical expertise and the other half on growing and developing their team members. The Storage Team is responsible for 24x7 high availability SAN and backup environment in an increasingly fast paced and growing environment.
A team leader will have team members reporting directly to them and they will report to either a Sr. Team Leader or a Director. They will conduct telephone pre-screening and face to face interviews for new team members and may participate in interviews for other teams. They will conduct annual PEP reviews and make salary and bonus recommendations.
This team leader should understand and live our Quicken Loans culture. They will also demonstrate a passion to learn about our business, the technologies that we use and explore new technologies.

- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically has over 2 years of IT or mortgage work experience or equivalent with understanding of specific area of technology.
- Understand complex TCO models to drive cost down and improve efficiencies on the storage platform.
- Time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3+ Years experience as a team leader.
- 3+ Years leading Storage/SAN/Backup Teams.
- 5+ Years supporting Storage/Backup Environment.
