Tetra Tech has an immediate opening for a motivated
Environmental Science Biologist. As an Environmental
Science Biologist, you will be responsible for carrying
out the duties and responsibilities of a junior or
mid-level scientist/biologist.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Wetland delineation;
  • Field surveys, water quality assessments, species
specific and general surveys, mitigation monitoring;
  • Report writing, permit applications, plant community
mapping, database management;
  • Sediment control assessments and monitoring;
Job Requirements:
  • A MS degree in biology, wildlife or natural
resources or a BS degree in biology, wildlife or
natural resources with one to three years of
experience;
  • A strong background in environmental impact
assessment, permitting, ecological field studies,
and planning;
  • Specialized expertise may be in environmental,
terrestrial, wetland, or wildlife sciences;
  • Must have demonstrated ability in field data
collection and analysis, technical writing;
  • Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal
skills is a must;
  • Professional and team-oriented work environment;
  • Reasonable travel requirements
This position requires the individual to drive either a
company car, rental car or his/her own car in the course
of performing their job from time to time. Employee must
be able to perform the physical functions of operating a
motor vehicle, including use of eyes, ears, arms, hands,
legs, and feet. Employee must be able to prove that
he/she has a current, valid driver’s with no
restrictions.
