The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple worldwide Information Systems projects from portfolio approval through completion. Using both internal and external resources, the Project Manager will be responsible to coordinate all activities including scope development, implementation, testing, and deployment, as well as support transition. They will be responsible to manage budget and project schedule within a matrix organization based on the Micron Project Methodology. The Project Manager will work with a program framework and align to the governance of the program.

In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop project scope of work, implementation, testing, and deployment, as well as support transition.

Project gate review completion.

Identification of risks and development of mitigation strategies along with contingency plans.

Drive and achieve aggressive timelines with minimal oversight.

Adhere to a rigorous Change Management process and scope control.

Develop, update, and maintain project schedule, budget as well as project updates.

Identify and track resource needs and deliverables.

Produce required project communication, documentation, and tracking procedures to ensure project scope is executed on schedule, on budget, and meets specific work quality expectations.

Present project status and risks to executive management.


Successful candidates for this position will have:
Ability to manage and coordinate resources on medium to large scale projects

Experience in MS Project.

Knowledge of project management methodologies and approaches based on PMI. (Project Management Institute). PMP certification a plus.

Experience in developing schedules, including milestones, critical path, resource leveling, and detail task scheduling.

Knowledgeable and skilled at leading meetings and meeting management.

Other desirable competencies include strong organizational and delegation skills, good leadership and motivational skills, good interpersonal and one-on-one communication skills.

It is also essential that you be knowledgeable and experienced using email, Microsoft Office



A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or equivalent related experience.
