This position will support Individual Life Account Executives with sales and marketing assistance. These responsibilities include proactively driving marketing efforts to bring in new business. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of sales and administrative support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a sales organization. The ideal candidate has superior technical skills, a demonstrated understanding of Life Insurance products, solid understanding of core sales concepts, advanced understanding of the presale and post sale process, superior customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to build solid relationships with brokers, sales field staff and home office.

Scheduling and calendar management
Plan, Execute, and Follow-up on Group Meetings
Review policies and run Sales Illustrations in a timely manner
Sales Meeting file preparation
Follow-up calls/e-mails on meetings and illustrations
Plan, Execute, and Follow-up on marketing plans
Build strong and meaningful relationships with AE, FA, Assistants
Company Liaison and Problem Solver for AE, FA, and Assistants
Help train and educate AE, FA, and Assistants on forms and process
Handle general administrative tasks (correspondence, expenses, ordering supplies, etc)
Case management/follow-up
Expert in proposals, using specialized sales and illustration skills and advanced product knowledge.
Demonstrated product and industry knowledge i.e. sales concepts, life insurance technical knowledge, and Hartford Life products, features and riders
Play a bigger role in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Outlook, Hartford Investor, Merlin, FieldLink.
Able to work independently and takes initiative solving problems as well as collaboratively as a part of a team
Knowledge of Industry Compliance rules/procedures
Solid communication and customer service skills
Works well under pressure; prioritizes own activities and works on several things simultaneously.
Solid understanding of distribution model.

Life insurance technical knowledge
Sales concepts
Wirehouse/Banking experience a plus
