The Plant Maintenance Technician, under routine supervision, is responsible for the production equipment and their functions. This includes, but not limited to, maintenance, software, troubleshooting, testing and analyzing. The main job duties include:
Set up preventative maintenance procedures on all electronic equipment.
Direct projects with maintenance personnel or engineering.
Generate computer programs for automated equipment.
Design and/or coordinate construction of fixturing.
Expected to do in-depth analysis of process, product and equipment on conjunction with engineering.
Provide technical guidance for floor personnel.
Evaluate tester equipment to insure test specifications.
Evaluate tester hardware and software.
Possess an understanding of tester troubleshooting using computer to computer interface.
Troubleshoot all electronics, electrical and pneumatic equipment.
Support equipment calibration as required.
Recognize, record and interpret unpredicted changes or variances in equipment, products or process that may affect product compliance.
Cleanliness and security of personal and equipment area.
2 year electronics degree or equivalent. Minimum of three years experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits, electronic testing methods and procedures and repairs and maintenance of equipment. One year experience in personal computer operation and programming.
