NCI: As the Principle Business Objects Specialist , you will development, engineering, architecture, and administration expertise on business intelligence, data warehousing, and report development projects utilizing the BOBJ suite of products.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
Maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse structure on the MS SQL Server 2008 instance
Perform system administration, design, development, testing, and production roll-out support
Manage product installation and tuning support to include Desktop Intelligence, Web Intelligence Servers, Designer, Supervisor, Auditor and Xcelsius
Provide architecture support and deployment planning guidance to assist in maximizing the benefit of the customer's BOBJ investment to meet organizational objectives
Provide Software Development Kit (SDK) support in order to fulfill product customization requirements and various application integration requirements
Provide Universe and Report development support in order to meet the Ad-Hoc Reporting, Analysis, and Static Reporting requirements of the end users and management
Provide knowledge transfer to the customer's staff and contractors as directed by the customer staff and management
Provide internal help desk support to resolve questions and issues that arise in terms of general or specific Business Objects issues and application specific questions
Assist in developing and implementing an internal help desk capability to provide production support to users
Develop documentation and help desk procedures
Provide documentation for development, installation, tuning, and architecture work
Bachelors Degree in an IT discipline
Able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
At least 7 years of data warehousing experience
Experience operating and developing in MS SQL Server 2008
At least 3 years of experience with data migration and Business Objects (XIR3), Data Services, Data Integrator and Knowledge Accelerator, Xcelsius
Preferred Experience and Education :
Active government clearance (Secret/Top Secret desired)
Advanced Degree is preferred
Relevant vendor certifications are preferred
