Certified Medical Assistant: Full time, non-exempt position. The person in this position provides assistance to the patient, nursing staff and medical staff. The following skills & duties are essential functions of this position and include, but are not limited to: Scheduling, assisting with various exams, taking vital signs, basic lab procedures, sterilization procedures, administering of immunizations, basic pharmacology, medical coding/billing, proper medical records techniques, knowledge of OSHA standards. Required: High School diploma/GED and must have be nationally certified as a medical assistant,with the ability to become certified as a Category E HCA through the State of Washington, current CPR Certification, and documentation of current HIV/AIDS education. Bilingual Spanish/English is required. Prior experience in the medical field highly preferred. This is a bargaining unit position. .
Shift: Full Time (40 hours per week) – Monday through Friday hours TBD.
