Job Description

This recruitment is open until filled. The review of application-related material will begin on 10/08/12. For full consideration, please submit application-related material no later than 10/05/12. 1. Teach a variety of software courses in both traditional and online modes. 2. Teaching assignments may include other technical courses; including digital literacy. 3. Assist other CIT faculty in development of new courses. 4. Serve on department and college-wide committees as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field (such as Computer Security, Information Assurance , or Any Engineering degree) from a regionally accredited college or university. - Proficienct in OO programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or Doctorate degree (preferably in CS, IT, or MIS) from a regionally accredited college or university. - 2+ years teaching and/or working in software development. - Proficiency in any of the following: - SharePoint - Project Management - Cloud Computing - WEB 2.0 Technologies - DBMS - Game or Graphics Programming - Linux - Any of the following technical certifications -Any Oracle Certification, Any Sequel Server Certification, PMP, Project+, CISSP, Security+, IC3, RHCE, Linux+, A+, Network+, or Any MOS Certification
