The Regional Vice President directs the operational, clinical sales and marketing, financial, and human resources aspects for the New York operations to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of service to our patients. The incumbent has P&L financial responsibility for assigned service areas. The Regional Vice President, in conjunction with the division management team, develops and implements corporate management objectives and budgetary goals. Specifically, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will have responsibility for the following areas:

Providing tactical implementation of regional, divisional and corporate objectives as determined and directed by senior management, corporate officers, and the governing body;

Evaluating the operations in the assigned service area to improve effectiveness and to provide for the appropriate resources and infrastructure required to support the company’s goals;

Collaborating with sales and customer development to increase revenue and market penetration;

Ensuring assigned service areas comply with, or exceeds, company, industry, and regulatory standards of quality and performance;

Ensuring assigned service areas are in compliance with all local, state, federal (e.g., DEA), and accrediting rules and regulations;

Attracting, developing and retaining talent to ensure that people with the right skills and motivation to meet business needs are positioned appropriately; and

Partnering with operations managers in the assigned service areas to execute business development, customer service and operational plans accordingly.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess key qualities that exemplify Omnicare’s #1 goal which is taking care of our patients. To be a key contributor, your experience and background must include:

Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline (MBA preferred)

At least 10 years of related work experience with an emphasis in operations and process management

At least 10 years of experience in a supervisory capacity

At least five years of financial management experience with demonstrated success of driving top and bottom line revenue

Experience working with clients, identifying and understanding their needs, and exceeding their expectations

Service-related industry experience preferred

Demonstrated success in a leadership position

Excellent ability to recruit and develop talent

Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers

Critical skills of analytical decision making, problem solving and team building

Proven success in a change management role

Ability to travel up to 50% of time
