Summary : Perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while providing a high level of patient care.
Requirements : Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 2 years experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of growth development, technical interventions and use of equipment. Competency in clinical skills related to the patient population being served. Competency in decision making for appropriate patient population. Current certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR Graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and must achieve registration within 90 days of program completion. BLS required. For new hires and transferring employees, certification will be obtained during orientation if necessary.
