Provide program and administrative support to the Community Engagement Team which manages donations and Timberland’s global employee volunteer program, The Path of ServiceTM. Responsible for donation request and fulfillment process, support of online volunteer management system, budget and forecast assistance and general administrative support.
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years of work experience and a demonstrated passion for community engagement.
Bachelor’s or Associate university degree (or equivalent) preferred.
Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Lotus Notes.
Must be highly organized and creative with the ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously and prioritize key tasks.
Position requires: excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
Ability to make public presentations and assume leadership roles when needed.
Comfort and accuracy in analyzing numerical data.
Excellence in managing details and meeting deadlines.

1. Community Investment Support: 1) Serve as point person for donation process; 2) manage Cybergrants database; assist in due diligence for new grantees; 3) compile annual global donations report; 4) coordinate donated product storage and shipment to grantees; 5) manage Timberland Stratham’s Holiday Giving Program.
2. Path of ServiceTM Support: 1) Support our online volunteer management system: maintain and update site information to promote volunteer opportunities; provide training and support to new users; manage system reporting functions; 2) train and support others to use the system; 3) provide event management and logistical support for Timberland’s two corporate service days (Earth Day in April and Serv-a-palooza in September) and other events as needed; 4) research and prepare content for Footprints, our internal, monthly community service e-newsletter.
3. 1) Manage purchase orders and vendor reimbursement to ensure accurate financial reporting for designated Community Engagement initiatives; 2) process financial spreadsheets to provide forecast and budget assistance; 3) maintain updated information on an internal bulletin board and messaging space; 4) coordinate and support the Global Stewards’ annual meeting; 5) provide general administrative support to the team.
