This position will sit in our Communications Solutions (DMT) business unit. This business unit provides technologies that help businesses of all sizes better communicate. We offer a full range of meters, digital color printers, inserters and sorters that enable the creation of high-impact, color customer communications, bills, statements, marketing offers and compliance documents. Our shipping solutions serve mail centers to production shipping. We provide digital solutions so organizations can create the right relations with the right customers We are currently seeking a Customer Service Technician . The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and repair Pitney Bowes Inserting and accessory equipment
Proactively schedule and perform preventative maintenance
Trouble-shoot customer reported problems
Proactively monitor, schedule, and prioritize tasks to maximize customer satisfaction
Manage a queue of calls to ensure that customers are contacted within the established guidelines, and that incidents are closed in a quality manner within the established guidelines.
Work in a high performance team environment
Build and help strengthen strong customer relationships
Plan and perform equipment upgrades and new installations

A minimum of 1 year of experience of “hands on” technical service and customer service for moderately complex business equipment and systems such as mailing, inserter, copier or facsimile
A + certification required or within 6 months of hire.
Minimum of 1 year experience in building and enhancing customer relationships
Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagrams
Experience using electronic trouble-shooting equipment
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Self-motivated with the ability to produce quality results
Strong communications (written and verbal) and customer relations skills
Positive attitude and commitment to excellence
Strong team skills
Strong planning, scheduling, and prioritization skills
Must be able to lift 40 lbs with or without accommodations
Overtime work or stand-by services will be required as determined by customer needs
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check Preferred Qualifications:
