Publication Specialist jobs
Under general supervision, coordinates design, layout, publication and distribution of department or University catalogs, flyers, brochures, newspapers and other informational/promotional materials. Researches and compiles information and may write and edit copy. Approves photography, illustrations and graphics; obtains client and printer concurrence. Maintains master information files and databases. Participates in the establishment and monitoring of project schedules and responsibilities; assists in selection, utilization and monitoring performance of external vendors. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate publications and attending related conferences and seminars. Performs a variety of administrative functions in support of department operations such as monitoring financial expenditures, maintaining department files and supply levels, assisting with budget preparation and serving as department contact person. Acts in a caring and courteous manner towards all patients, guests, visitors, students and staff.
(Annual Salary $27, 251 - $ 34,868 - $ 42,484) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Licensure / Certifications None required.
