Responsibilities:
Establish a single-support center

Attract, hire, develop and retain top level employees

Manage the daily customer support operations

Develop 24x7 support capability to ensure high severity problems are managed around the clock to meet customer needs

Develop globally consistent working practice, and implement, maintain, and improvise them

Participate as a key member of customer sales and service operations management team in determining and driving the overall direction for the organization

Be able to scale the organization consistent with business needs

Cooperate with and influence multiple groups in the company to achieve results

Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of Storage (DAS, SAN and NAS) and its deployment in various application environments

Knowledge of Linux (Redhat, SLES, Ubuntu), Windows and VMWare ESXi

Knowledge of Flash Storage preferred

Applications knowledge in terms of installation, tuning and IO patters

Engineering degree, 10 years’ experience in Storage solutions and storage management in the above application environments.

Experience in building customer support organization from ground up is preferred.

Skills:
Management

Capable of building and managing a team of professionals – must have a good track record in recruiting and developing great people.

A detailed and systematic approach to targeting, monitoring and appraising team members. Will have experience of creating and maintaining sophisticated customer support planning and management techniques.

Communication

Exceptional negotiation, presentation and listening skills. Must have the credibility and business maturity necessary to give high-quality input to senior management meetings, presentations to the customer base.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Will have the gravitas, executive presence, charisma and knowledge to be credible in complex discussions and negotiations.
