The Department of Nursing at Millersville University, which has a NLNAC accredited RN-BSN and MSN (FNP & Nurse Educator options) program, is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning August 2013. This position will require teaching coursework in the MSN-FNP program and the RN-BSN program.

Required Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in Nursing or closely related field by November 1, 2015. MSN with current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Pennsylvania (PA) RN license (or eligibility). PA APN license (or eligibility). Valid driver's license. Current clinical experience as certified FNP. Evidence of teaching excellence at the university level. Strong communication skills; ability to: work with diverse populations; clinically supervise FNP students; and conduct classes through multifaceted teaching strategies for didactic or face to face classroom delivery, clinical and/or web enhanced or web-based format. Evidence of commitment to publication, research and clinical practice. Successful interview and teaching demonstration.
