We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to support the Defense Information Systems Agency at Fort Meade, MD. Additional work location will include Fairfax, VA. This position would require that all qualified candidates have an active SECRET clearance.
Responsibilities will also include:
Candidates for this position must possess experience in ITIL and Lean Six Sigma practices. Working closely with all project stakeholders, the individual will be employed in studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats to assist program management in determining operational objectives. In collaboration with project stakeholders, the individual will provide support to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data and report results (metrics analysis).
Playing an active role in the collection and analysis of system requirements and transferring the knowledge to development team during the development stage of product to meet the customer’sbusiness needs.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs
Preparation of detailed user interface and support guides
Use statistics and logical reasoningto support data analysis, reporting, audits, and evaluation support
Elicit requirements through stakeholder facilitation sessions; requirements workshops; UML modeling, Use Case analysis and document analysis.
Write a variety of SDLC documents
Work well as part of a large development team in the development of task deliverables while working onsite at the client’s facility.
Must have active SECRET clearance
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Information Management or 10 years of relevant experience
1+ year experience in ITIL (certifications preferred)
2+ years of Lean Six Sigma practices (certifications preferred)
2+ years of Metrics Analysis
2+ years of Business Intelligence experience
