Role Purpose
Responsible for devising and executing a plan that results in U.S. colleges and universities taking more effective measures to guide their students toward increased use of legal – and decreased use of illegal – means to obtain movies and television programs. The location of this position is subject to change and could possibly be located in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, CA, or New York City, NY.


Work cooperatively with a range of stakeholders in the entertainment and university communities to advocate for the creation and adoption of appropriate educational materials, as well as for effective technological and deterrent measures that universities would employ.

Work with other content companies on system for rewarding universities for serving as role models.

Working with universities, communications firms and other stakeholders to develop effective materials and communication strategies for universities to use to educate their students on the consequences of illegal acquisition of movies and music

Working with universities, vendors, and trade associations to understand and advocate for technological measures that universities can employ to reduce infringement that takes place through campus networks.

Working with universities on regional and national bases to increase effectiveness of university programs. Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
BA/BS required.

Demonstrated ability to drive a diverse constituency toward consensus on complex policy issues

Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant field – especially academia, technology

An understanding of how campus computer networks work.
