Install and maintain Linux systems.
Monitor a production Linux environment for problems and resolve problems when identified.
Use and maintain monitoring systems: Nagios, Ganglia, and Cacti.
Take ownership of F5 load balancers and traffic managers to maintain service level agreement (SLA) levels for production applications.
Work with development, QA, and product management to maintain and further develop software release and deployment cycle.
Support development environments and provide support for software engineering team.
Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2 years of experience in the job offered or in systems administration.
Academic background or work experience to include:
installation and management of Redhat Linux or Centos operating systems;
installation and configuration of Apache, MySQL, and Nginx;
creating and distributing custom RPM packages;
troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues with server and desktop systems.
