Perform a variety of professional duties in support of the City's human resource functions including development, validation, and administration of pre-employment and promotional written examinations and assessment center processes; prepare validation and documentation reports; responsible for ascertaining the City's compliance with State and Federal applicable laws and regulations concerning employee selection procedures for employment and promotion; provide assistance and support to all other areas of Department of Human Resources as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, English, human resources, public administration, business administration or a related field, plus four (4) years of professional experience in test development, validation and test administration. Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Techniques used in test development, validation, and administration of all testing instruments; record and maintain all testing data
Federal applicable laws and regulations concerning employee selection procedures; ability to interpret and explain the City's Rules and Regulations relating to Public Safety Departments’ testing policies and procedures
Develop and conduct job analyses, surveys and other instruments to provide basic information for evaluating minimum qualifications; interpret the data statistically to create meaningful selection instruments
Prepare documentation reports and perform various research and data analysis functions; apply findings to projects assigned
Develop, administer, evaluate, and conduct training and presentations
Interpret, explain and present material of a complex and sensitive nature
Scan, score, record and maintain all testing data
Maintain confidentiality of all testing materials
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
