Under the general direction of the Public Works Supervisor, employee will assist in the daily operation of the water and wastewater collection system as well as other public works duties. •Assist with water/sewer main repair and maintenance throughout the system•Assist with chemical treatment of potable water.•Assists in determining course of action in event of emergencies such as machine, equipment, or power failure.•Assists in the operation, maintenance, repair and location of water/waste water facilities and other utilities within the City.•Street/road repair, mowing/maintaining City properties, installing/removing signs, and miscellaneous jobs to meet the City’s needs.•Ability to operate various heavy equipment including but not limited to; backhoe's, trenchers, dozers, skid steers, and graders.
