Proactively provide executive administrative support to the Vice President, Capital Markets Leader, the CFO for Capital Markets, and the broader GECA Capital Markets team. Independently handle administrative duties in a discreet and professional manner. Provide back-up support to other administrative staff as needed.
Proactively support the assigned managers and team by independently handling all assigned duties, taking direction from and balancing the needs of multiple staff members.
Handle confidential data and matters in a discreet and professional manner.
Maintain and coordinate calendars, schedule appointments and meetings and arrange travel schedules and itineraries.
Process and reconcile Travel & Living expense accounts.
Schedule, plan, and organize all logistical details for in-house and off-site meetings.
Participate in and support special projects as needed.
Develop PowerPoint presentations and Excel files, type letters, memos, charts, reports, proposals, contracts, agreements, or other types of correspondence and maintain records of all documents.
Provide general office administrative services including telephone coverage, mail and fax processing and distribution, file set up and maintenance, photocopying and office supplies.
High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years secretarial/administrative experience in a large corporate environment
Excellent administrative and inter-personal skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Systems proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Exhibit exceptional organization skills and detail orientation

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience interfacing with senior management and high profile clients.
Highly motivated, confident, able to work without direct supervision.
Ability to work well in a team environment and to perform under pressure/against tight deadlines.
Mastery of MS Office 2000 with experience and advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications.
Skills and ability to draft clear and concise memoranda.
Professional approach, good judgment, creative problem-solver.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Heavy telephone interaction – answer and direct calls as appropriate.
Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.
Knowledge of GE policies/procedures.
Basic understanding of finance and business.
