Job Description Job Title: Real Estate Asset Manager Experience: 2 - 5 years Location: New York Company Profile Och-Ziff Real Estate (OZRE), an affiliate of Och-Ziff Capital Management Group (NYSE: OZM), through its affiliates, invests in real estate and real estate related opportunities. OZRE seeks value-based, situationally-opportunistic real estate investments expected to yield superior returns through the acquisition of individual real estate assets or loans, multi-property portfolios or loan pools, joint ventures, operating companies, structured products, public securities and related assets primarily located in the United States. OZRE's investments may be structured in various forms including equity, preferred equity, mezzanine debt, participating debt and other securities that are consistent with OZRE's investment objectives. Responsibilities Based in New York, the Asset Manager would report to the Lead Asset Manager and assist in managing the fund's various real estate holdings including hotel, office, retail, gaming, land and development properties as well as the fund's major joint venture relationships throughout North America.

The duties of this position include: Oversee partnerships in implementing and revising asset and portfolio level business plans to deliver accretive investment performance to the fund; Develop and monitor project budgets including forecasting revenues, expenses, debt service, depreciation, capital expenditures, net income, etc. for existing assets; Coordinate and oversee capital projects to ensure completion on time and on budget. Negotiate, edit and review letters of intent, leases and contracts across multiple asset classes Prepare periodic reviews to benchmark asset performance against initial projections and market forces; Manage on-site property teams including significant project, development and process management responsibilities to drive results and participate in value-add idea generation; Perform on-going management reviews, accounting forensics and market research on an asset-by-asset basis to formulate opinions on market conditions and strategies to optimize asset performance; Report monthly updates of each portfolio Implement dispositions, recapitalizations and re-financings on existing assets and assisting on acquisitions of new assets; Administer contracts and act as liaison with lenders, investors, third-party operating partners Candidate Profile 2 to 5 years of real estate and asset management experience with a focus on hotel, retail, and office asset classes; Preference for candidates with experience working for or with major brand and/or hotel management companies; Retail and/or office lease administration experience helpful Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task; Exposure to property management and possess solid financial acumen; Outstanding interpersonal skills. Team-oriented and comfortable in a non-institutional approach and flat small sized organizational structure; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively; Willing to travel 30-35%; Bachelor's degree required; Proficiency in Microsoft with strong Excel skills is preferred; Knowledge of Argus and/or Procalc helpful; Position is based in New York City.
